The large yet private terrace is ideal for al fresco eating, sunbathing or simply relaxing with a drink and enjoying the stunning views. Or cool off in the pool... only 25 metres away are two award winning cascading swimming pools exclusively for Vistamar residents' use. The Cumbre del Sol facilities include a supermarket, pharmacy/medical centre, bank, newsagent, bar and snack bar and two restaurants, including the highly recommended La Cumbre Restaurant which also has its own communal pool and small outside bar for tapas and drinks. The restaurant has a full A la carte menu for the evening.
The nearest beach is the unspoiled and beautiful private Moraig Beach, used almost exclusively by Cumbre del Sol residents, and is situated less than 5 minutes from the apartment (by car). If you enjoy walking you can take the scenic cliffside walks. The very child friendly beaches of picturesque Moraira and Javea are 10 and 15 minutes away.
Nearby Moraira has all the charm of the old and new, with its long sandy beach and pretty marina. There are many excellent restaurants, bars and pavement cafes, (many are Internet cafes) - and plenty of shops and boutiques to stroll around. The coastal resorts of Denia, Calpe and Altea are also within 20 minutes drive.
The local villages of Benitatxell and Benissa retain all the traditional charm of old Spain - and just a short distance inland lies the green and picturesque Jalon valley. Benidorm is approximately 35 minutes away with all its attractions. The apartment is 60 minutes north of Alicante (Valencia is 1hr 20 minutes away).
Lying at the heart of the Costa Blanca, this area is known as the Marina Alta, an area renowned for its outstanding natural beauty. Cumbre del Sol is completely surrounded by a spectacular National Park Reserve and by the Mediterranean, with its wonderful sea and mountain views, and is much appreciated by walkers and climbers. The whole area is a photographer's paradise! There is tennis, karting, horse-riding, and several golf courses nearby - as well as more beaches and hidden coves. The area also has some excellent fishing, scuba diving, jet-ski and sailing.
