Marbella Football Academy is a 5 min drive from the apartment so you may get
lucky and see your favourite "premiership team" doing their pre-season
training or enrol the children (boys and girls) on football courses coached
by Ramon Vega (ask for application).
For shopping, the well known department
store El Corte Ingles, 6km away, has everything you could wish for - a food
department similar to Harrods' food hall, family buffets at incredible
prices (they even do you beach picnic for 6 euros), designer clothes and
much more. La Canada Shopping Centre is only 10 min drive, and the Saturday
and Thursday markets in Puerto Banus and San Pedro will give you a flavour
of the local area.
For the more adventurous, a day trip to
Ronda or Morocco (only 30 min crossing from Tarifa) is a must. Seville,
Cadiz, Cordoba and Granada are 100 miles away.
