Villa for rent in Bigastro, Costa BlancaThe sun shines on this villa all day and moves from the front and pool side from morning to the late afternoon. It sets at the rear in the evenings, depending on the time of the year.

There are several relaxing areas around the villa, at the front, alongside the pool and to the rear as well as a first floor sun terrace, ideal for sloping away for a quiet rest or pre-dinner aperitifs.

The pretty dining room is at the front of the property, with a large table seating six people easily. The lounge is also at the front of the property and has luxury furnishings that include Sky TV, DVD and stereo as well as books magazines and various games for those who may run out of energy from too much swimming or sunbathing by the pool.

Bedroom 3 (ground floor), has full air-conditioning (hot and cold air) and a radiator, with 2 beds configured as twins or a large double bed, large fitted mirrored wardrobes with ample coat hangers and bedside cabinets / lamps. The second bathroom also on the ground floor, is fully tiled and there is a shower cubicle, WC and a vanity unit with fitted lights and gas central heating radiator.

The kitchen has granite worktops and hob splash-back with stainless steel appliances: electric oven, electric grill, multi service gas and electric plate hob, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle. Included are all essential items such as glassware, crockery, pots, pans, cutlery etc. Also plastic glasses, crockery and serving dishes when eating or drinking outside or around the pool. The kitchen leads to a utility room/galleria which holds six fully reclining sun loungers, numerous parasols and swimming pool goggles etc. The rear door leads outside to the pool and other sunbathing areas around the villa.

There is a further Moroccan ceramic and wrought iron table and four chairs alongside the pool ideally placed to catch the morning sun while eating breakfast alongside the pool. To the rear of the villa, is a large sun bathing /dining area with hardwood table that expands to cater for eight people plus matching chairs and cushions. This is the ideal place to eat in the evenings and watch the sunset. It also overlooks the communal pool which may not be used after 19.00, but which is elegantly lit for the evening.

The master bedroom on the first floor has full air-conditioning (hot or cold air) and a radiator. There are twin beds that can be configured as a large double bed, bedside cabinets and lamps. There are also large fully mirrored fitted wardrobes with ample coat hangers and small chests of drawers within them. Bedroom 2 also on the first floor, has full air-conditioning (hot and cold air) and a radiator, 2 beds configured as twins or a large double bed, large fitted mirrored wardrobes with ample coat hangers and bedside cabinets / lamps.

The family bathroom is large, fully tiled and has a bath and marble sink with shower door, WC, bidet, vanity unit with fitted lights, gas central heating radiator and a hairdryer.

The sun terrace on the first floor is peaceful, has seats and cushions and is a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of family holiday life.

The villa pool is 4m X 6m, with a maximum depth of 2m, and has steps leading into it. It is fully maintained throughout the year as well as the villa and gardens by the manager and manageress.

The Area

The property is a ten minute pleasant walk to the town centre of Bigastro with full amenities, 20 minutes from Guadamar beach, famous for its 15km of white sand beach. Torrevieja is a twenty minute drive away, four kilometres to the historic city of Oriheula, an hour from Benidorm and 40 minutes from Murcia, Alicante and Elche.

Within 20 minutes drive from the villa there are 2 water parks, ten pin bowling, go-karts, horse riding and many water sports. There are local Spanish bars and restaurants in Bigastro and dozens of others for all tastes throughout the area from expensive to extremely reasonable, there are details, directions and recommendations in the villa.

Five minutes from the villa are walking and mountain bike trails at Los Altos de la Pedrera, (our local nature reserve).

Grocery pack payable locally for £20, includes, coffee, milk, bread, pastries, jam soft drinks and wine.

Airport drop off and pick-p available locally.

Suitability No pets. Non smokers. Not suitable for wheelchairs and people with mobility difficulties as on two floors with main and rear door entrance steps.

Children must be supervised at all times when outside due to the proximity of the pool to the villa.

A car is necessary.

Payment Terms

Prices include bed linen and towels.

Deposit to secure booking: 20%. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to holiday.

Refundable damage deposit: £200 one week after holiday has ended. Payable locally, these costs are payable to the manageress upon arrival and collection of keys.
