And its central location means you do not even need to hire a car - the taxi rank is just a few hundred metres along the road.
The apartment is newly refurbished, and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a comfortable and spacious lounge dining room with television, DVD player and a dining table seating 6 people. The separate kitchen is fully fitted and well-equipped. All rooms are air-conditioned, ideal for those hot summer days. The lounge opens to a small private terrace overlooking Moraira's main square with the Mediterranean beyond.
Moraira is one of the most select holiday destinations on the Spanish Costa Blanca. The pretty fishing village has succeeded in developing into a small but stylish town with a fabulous marina, designer boutiques and gourmet restaurants. Moraira has a lively atmosphere with nightlife for the young and a good choice of shops to suit all budgets.
There are four beaches of very different character in the immediate area with El Portet being the northern most of these, popular with families with its sheltered bay and gently sloping seabed, ideal and safe for swimming. Other beautiful beaches and coves are scattered along the coast ready for you to explore and water-sports include snorkelling, scuba-diving, jet-skiing and windsurfing. There are several excellent golf courses within a short distance, and the nearest airport is Alicante, just an hour by car.
