A three bedroom south-facing villa conveniently situated on a quiet residential area within walking distance of local amenities including bars, restaurants and supermarkets.
The accommodation comprises a sitting area with two sofas, and a dining area which comfortably seats six people. The television is for use with the PlayStation 2 and DVD player, although it does receive local channels. There is a good selection of games and DVDs, as well as a number of books and various board games.
The lounge/diner leads to a separate kitchen which is well-equipped with fridge-freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave and the usual kitchen equipment, cutlery and crockery. The washing machine is situated in a small room at the back of the house. From the kitchen there are sliding doors leading to a large covered terrace which overlooks the private pool.
From the sitting area sliding doors lead to a patio with a built-in BBQ. From here there are stairs which lead to the roof solarium.
The villa has three bedrooms, one double and two twins. The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and an en suite. There are two twin bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes which share the family bathroom. The en-suite has a bath with shower, and the family bathroom has a shower.
The garden and pool area are on the same level. There is a large tiled area next to the pool for sitting in the sun. There is a shady area under two palm trees and a patio area with a pergola which provides a shady sitting and dining area. The pool is 12m by 5m and is great for swimming in or playing in.
A seven minute walk from the villa is a small supermarket which offers many UK brands. It is well stocked and competitively priced. Close to the supermarket is a pharmacy and a small number of bars and restaurants including English, Spanish, Chinese and Italian cuisine. All just a few minutes stroll from the villa but far enough away not to be a nuisance. There is also a new health centre close by which will see holiday makers should the need arise. There is a small health centre in Quesada which only sees adults.

|Suitability||We would like the inside of the house to be treated as a non-smoking area. We ask that smokers respect our wishes and smoke outside. There are heaters available for all rooms. The garden is on one level and totally enclosed with lockable gates. There are, however, a number of steps leading from the terrace to the garden which might be difficult for very young children to negotiate (see pictures). There is also an outside staircase leading to the roof terrace. Although we do not have equipment for young children available in the villa, one of our neighbours hires out travel cots, high chairs etc. There is also a hire shop about seven minutes drive away, which hires out such equipment i.e. a travel cot is 15 euros a week (you have to provide your own sheets and blankets).|

Information about CIUDAD QUESADA and the area
The town centre of Quesada with its supermarkets, banks, clothes shops, hairdressers, pharmacy and a great variety of bars and restaurants are all within a leisurely 15 minute walk. There are also tennis courts which are free to use when booked. The lakes of La Mata and Torrevieja dominate the countryside around Quesada with many of the country roads lined with orange and lemon groves. The nearest golf course is the Marquesa Golf and Country Club just 5 minutes drive away. Other courses nearby include Villa Martin, Los Ramblas and La Finca.
There are miles of sandy beaches along the southern Costa Blanca, the nearest being the wonderful Blue Flag beaches at Guardamar. There are two Aqua Parks, one here in Quesada and the other in Torrevieja. The vibrant coastal town of Torrevieja and the excellent beaches at Guardamar are just a 10-15 minute drive. Torrevieja is a good shopping centre with a new shopping Mall and host to many familiar stores. Add a nightly street market, a pedestrianised seafront with plenty of superb restaurants, a busy port and new marina and you can see why it is such a popular holiday destination for Spanish people from inland Spain. Guardamar has a wide sandy beach with a lovely walk northwards along the dunes to the marina. There is a long pedestrian promenade with many bars, restaurants and cafeterias offering a wide variety of snacks, drinks and meals. It has a street market most nights in July and August (weekend nights in the less busy periods) which adjoins an area with various rides for small children. Alongside this, there is the Queen Sofia Park which is a lovely shaded area for walking and sitting with a lake and wild fowl.

|Payment Terms||A 20% deposit is required to secure a booking. The balance is payable six weeks before departure. There would also be a refundable deposit against damage or breakage of up to £200, payable with the balance. This deposit is refunded seven to ten days after departure, after a satisfactory inspection of the property.|
